P&S Consultants developed a proposal-stage conceptual design for a new Fine Arts academic and cultural facility in Ponce, Puerto Rico. The concept brings together specialized instructional, creative, exhibition, faculty, and student spaces within a new approximately 12,800-square-foot, two-story building, while incorporating an existing steel structure as part of the larger Fine Arts complex.

The design establishes a contemporary industrial architectural language through exposed structural elements, insulated metal panels, precast concrete components, and architectural metal mesh. The new building is conceived as an elevated structure in response to site flood conditions, while the existing structure is proposed for adaptive integration subject to structural and code evaluation.

The proposal emphasizes flexibility, resilience, constructability, and the specialized technical requirements of Fine Arts education, creating a cohesive environment for teaching, collaboration, exhibitions, and creative production.
